news

Emergency Procedures
- Procedures for fire and other emergencies are posted in every classroom
in the Emergency Guide flipchart, and all staff members are expected to
be aware of these procedures. All faculty should be aware of the location
of the nearest fire extinguisher.
Medical Emergencies
- Faculty should be familiar with the emergency medical guide.
It is available in each department office. These are also generally posted
in each classroom.
If the medical emergency is
a result of an accident, instructors must complete an accident report
form. These may be obtained in the department office or from the office
of the Dean of Instruction. An accident form is filled out for each accident.
The completed form should be given to the department chair, who will forward
it to the office of the Dean of Instruction.
- Moreno Valley and Norco
Campuses - In case of emergency, use the designated emergency phone
in the Student Services building to call 911, or call 9-911 from other
campus phones. Specify campus, building and room,
and the nature of the emergency.
- Riverside Campus
