Staff Passes - Your RCCD staff ID card admits two people and is good for all home athletic and other ASRCC events during the year. Contact the office of the Dean, Student Services for more information.

Tutorial Services - Tutorial Services are provided (at no cost) to all students needing supplemental assistance in the course(s) in which they are currently enrolled. Services include one-on-one tutoring and small group sessions, as well as self-tutorial software. For information contact:

EOP/S

Extended Opportunity Program & Services (EOP/S) is a student support service program implemented and funded by the state of California (as per Title V) to help recruit, retain, and assist the academic success of low-income and educationally disadvantaged students by providing tools and resources for achieving a higher education. TRIO PROGRAMS

Upward Bound:

Provides economically disadvantaged and first generation college bound students with access and opportunity to a post-secondary education. Upward Bound provides focused and individual attention to each student but expects active effort and participation from each participant. The primary goal is for students to graduate from high school and continue their education at a four-year university. Upward Bound is sponsored by RCC through a grant from the Department of Education. For more information please visit the Upward Bound website.

Talent Search:
The Talent Search Program at RCC Norco Campus provides economically disadvantaged and first generation college-bound students with academic support, access, and exposure to post-secondary education. Talent Search's primary goal is to improve high school graduation rates and academic competency of program participants. The program is sponsored by RCC through a federal grant from the Department of Education TRiO programs.

Two-thirds of the applicants selected must be low-income and/or first generation college-bound (this means that neither parent has graduated from a four-year university). A limited number of students who may not meet the federal requirements are also eligible for the program.

Student Transfer Academic Retention (STAR):
The STAR program offers qualifying students a strong academic support system and learning community that will assist them in mastering their college transitions. The primary goal of the program is to increase the retention and graduation rates of students who are committed to transferring to a four-year institution by increasing their access and opportunity to higher education. The program is sponsored by RCC through a federal grant from the Department of Education TRiO programs.

Student Support Services:
Creates a developmental framework that addresses the specific academic and personal needs of the project participants to a degree such that retention and graduation rates of Low-income, First Generation College and disabled students are significantly increased.

The core services have been designed to engage, stimulate and retain the project participants to such a degree that participants become active learners and continue their education until they graduate and /or transfer to a four-year institution.

This program is sponsored by a grant through the Department of Education.
