Riverside Community College District's Public Safety Education and Training Program is committed to providing the highest quality training that will enhance the public safety professional's ability to protect lives, property, and the environment within the state of California and beyond. The program provides students with law enforcement and fire service education from basic entry level instruction to advanced in-service training. The program is located at the off-campus site known as the Ben Clark Public Safety Training Center, 3423 Davis Avenue in Riverside, CA 92518-1514.

Law Enforcement Program - RCC offers instruction in the following areas: Basic Peace Officer Academy (full-time and modular format); Correctional Deputy Academy; Basic Public Safety Dispatch Academy; in-service training for Probation, Juvenile Counselor and STC Supervisory courses; as well as continuing education courses for in-service Law Enforcement personnel. Fire Technology Program - RCC's Fire Technology Program offers instruction and training in the following areas: Basic Firefighter 1 Academy, Technical Rescue, Hazardous Materials, Company Officer, Chief Officer, Incident Command Systems, Wildland Firefighting, Emergency Medical Services, Multi-Agency Truck Academy, Driver Operator, and Dispatcher Training.
