OPEN CAMPUS
The Open Campus is responsible for distributing distance education throughout the District, providing administrative services for over 400 faculty teaching 1000+ online, hybrid, web-enhanced, and telecourse sections to over 50,000 enrolled spaces per year. The Open Campus is also responsible for faculty technology training, offering personalized workshops on numerous technology topics as well as one-on-one technology mentoring. The Open Campus operates the Faculty Innovation Center, a faculty training center and workroom open to all RCC faculty and staff, on the Riverside Campus. The Innovation Center is located in MLK 222, where we have 20 new computers, wireless connections, and ample workspace. Faculty will have access to the latest software used in education--such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Adobe Dreamweaver --as well as printers, scanners and a Scantron machine.
