About
the
Office of Institutional Effectiveness
This
page is under construction and will soon include more information
about Institutional Effectiveness.
Please
note that Institutional Effectiveness has responsibilities
for the former Office of Faculty Affairs which was created
in December 2000 to serve the faculty of the Riverside Community
College District. The Office was led by the Dean of Faculty,
who is now the Associate Vice Chancellor or Institutional
Effectiveness and who retains her former responsibilities
in the new Office. In part, the office exists to facilitate
the professional development needs of faculty, to inspire
their vision for teaching, and to provide learner-centered
instruction. The Office's role includes facilitation of
the Improvement of Instruction process, development of draft
policies and procedures related to faculty in collaboration
with the Senate, FLEX recordkeeping and professional development.
The
Office of Institutional Effectivessness continually revisits
its mission, its programs and its services. Please share
your ideas, your vision and your needs with us. The staff
is pleased to serve you, direct you to others who can, or
assist in your quest for resources and ideas. Part-time
faculty are encouraged to attend and participate in all
the activities sponsored by the office, including technology
workshops offered by Open Campus.
